Happy belated Thanksgiving!

November 28, 2008

I was going to post yesterday but I was just too busy traveling and eating. We left our house at 6:45 am yesterday morning and drove down to Coon Rapids, MN, to participate in the glutany that is Thanksgiving.

Josh’s Aunt Soni had a delicious meal prepared and other family members brought dishes to share as well. A few of the dishes were new to me. There was a yummy cold noodle salad that had tomatoes and feta cheese and some kind of balsamic dressing with penne noodles.

The stuffing had golden raisins, sausage, and awesome mushrooms. I think that was my favorite dish. The cranberry sauce was also delicious. Overall a very good meal.

The company was great as well. We saw a lot of Josh’s relatives that we hadn’t seen for quite some time. His Aunt Sara had never even seen Raleigh.

Speaking of Raleigh, he behaved so well and even ended up taking a nap on Aunt Soni’s bed with Grampa Steve.
